Other Workflows

Interface Workflows

SIU Interface Edits

This workflow is designed to be used with GECB System Interface Utilities (SIU) interfaces. Incoming interface updates may have many different edits that prevent them from filing.  With this ETM workflow, you can create Tasks for those edits, group them into Task Names, and allocate the work.  ETM’s detailed reporting capabilities allow volume, inventory, and productivity to be tracked.  Available in GECB version 6.0+.

EWS (Enterprise-Wide Scheduling) Workflows

Pre-Visit

Identifying issues in registration, financial counseling and/or authorizations before the patient’s arrival has a significant impact on receivables. This workflow allows you to check upcoming Sched appointments using criteria you define to create Tasks.  ETM’s detailed reporting capabilities allow volume, inventory, and productivity to be tracked.  Available in GECB version 4.0+.

VM Workflows

VM Hold Bills/Alerts

If you are using CBO/HPA or AVM, Hold Bills can trigger Tasks in ETM to track issues impacting a visit.  ETM’s detailed reporting capabilities allow volume, inventory, and productivity to be tracked.  Available in GECB version 5.1+.

VM Transfers

When a visit transfer occurs, it can trigger the need for end-user review or action.  Using this workflow, you can track key transfers to ensure the appropriate actions take place.  ETM’s detailed reporting capabilities allow volume, inventory, and productivity to be tracked.  Available in GECB version 6.0+.

Financial Risk Manager Workflows

FRM 837 Incoming Claim Edits

Organizes edits on incoming Claims and provides a user interface integrated with the system.  Available in GECB version 6.1+.

FRM Claims

This workflow allows FRM Claim follow up within ETM.  Having the workflow within ETM enhances your ability to track outstanding claims as well as track who is currently assigned and lag times.  ETM’s detailed reporting capabilities allow volume, inventory, and productivity to be tracked.  Available in GECB version 5.1+.

FRM Referrals

Referrals added or edited in FRM can trigger the creation or updating of corresponding tasks in ETM if the Referral meets certain user-defined criteria identifying Referrals that need further review.  Available in GECB version 5.3+.

FRM Unassigned PCP

This workflow creates a Task when an unassigned PCP is used to track the record until it is resolved.  Having the workflow within ETM enhances your ability to track outstanding records as well as track who is currently assigned and lag times.  ETM’s detailed reporting capabilities allow volume, inventory, and productivity to be tracked.  Available in GECB version 5.3+.

Cross Application Workflows

Customer Service

Using the flexibility of ETM, we can establish a workflow that allows a Call Center to resolve the majority of calls through appropriate instruction pane directions, indicate outcomes to allow reporting of call types, and transfer those calls that require additional resource assistance to the appropriate areas efficiently.  Available in GECB version 5.2+.

Note: This workflow is available before version 5.3 but beginning with 5.3 the Patient Financials screen is available making this workflow more easily utilized across multiple groups as well as across both BAR and CBO/HPA receivables.

Correspondence

Using EDM and ETM, this workflow can be developed to route pieces of correspondence to the correct staff, automate actions based on the type of correspondence and allow accurate reporting of those current stacks of paper correspondence.  ETM’s detailed reporting capabilities allow volume, inventory, and productivity to be tracked.  Available in GECB version 4.3+.

Referrals

Referrals added or edited in FRM or BAR Open Referrals can trigger the creation or updating of corresponding tasks in ETM if the Referral meets certain user-defined criteria identifying Referrals that need further review.  Available in GECB version 5.3+.

Sequence & Dependencies

Only the BAR and CBO/HPA workflows have specific requirements before they can be installed. The workflows listed above do not have significant dependencies aside from application licensing.
